Affiliate Disclosure

Zaba is a participant in retailer affiliate programs operated by third-party networks including (but not limited to) Commission Junction (CJ), Impact, Rakuten Advertising, Awin, ShareASale, Partnerize, FlexOffers, Sovrn Commerce, and Skimlinks. When you share an item from a Zaba closet and a viewer clicks the link, Zaba may route that click through an affiliate-tracked URL.

How outbound links work

Every link in a shared closet falls into one of four states:

• Affiliate-eligible. The retailer is enrolled in one of the networks above, the product URL points at the exact product page, and Zaba has credentials configured for the network. A click is tracked through the affiliate network and a subsequent purchase may pay commission.
• Direct (tracking-only). The product URL is valid but the retailer is not currently wired to an affiliate program. The link still works for the shopper; no commission is earned.
• Search fallback.Zaba couldn't recover the exact product page from the receipt, so the link points at the retailer's search results for the brand + product name. These links help shoppers find the item but are never commissionable.
• No store link. No outbound URL is available.

How commission is paid

When a click on an affiliate-eligible link results in a purchase and the retailer's network reports a conversion, Zaba records the conversion and splits the commission with the sharer. The sharer keeps 75% of the publisher commission; Zaba retains 25%. Commission only applies to conversions reported by the affiliate network — not to clicks on direct, search-fallback, or no-store-link items.

Where you see the state

In the Zaba iOS app, the Earn tab breaks your closet down by these four states so you can see at a glance which items are commission-ready vs. tracking-only vs. search fallback vs. no link. Counts reflect current network and retailer configuration; when new affiliate-network credentials are activated, items move into the commission-ready state automatically.

FTC disclosure

Zaba and the closets people share through Zaba may contain affiliate links. Where commission is earned, it does not change the price the buyer pays. Sharers are not paid to recommend specific products — only to share items they have already purchased and own.
